Unknown armed men gunned down an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police at Mano Jan Road, on Saturday, DIG Police Rehmatullah Niazi said. According to reports, ASI Abid was going home in plain clothes when some unidentified, armed men sprayed him with bullets. As a result, he died on the spot. Saddar police registered case and started search for the assailants.
