The government is initiating the Benazir youth programme to impart professional training to the youngsters and women. This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Women Development, Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto. She was chairing a departmental meeting, says a statement issued here on Sunday.
The Deputy Director of the Department, Musarrat Jabeen, gave a briefing on the occasion.
She informed that the programme would benefit about 2,000 women with academic qualifications from Matric to graduate. The training period would span from one month up to one year and the training would be imparted in five different fields.
The minister urged on the occasion that the programme should be activated at the earliest so that the women could benefit from this. She also made it clear that no dereliction would be tolerated in this connection.
