Body of doctor found

The body of Dr Saleh Muhammad Baloch was found from the boot of his car which was parked here on Western Bypass, suburb of the provincial capital, on Sunday noon, police told APP.
Saddar police said that people had informed the police station about a suspicious vehicle parked in Western Bypass when police personnel reached the spot and found a body lying in the boot of the car. Later, the body was identified to be as Dr Saleh Muhammad Baloch.
Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that he was killed 14 hours ago. He had received two bullet wounds. The murderers after killing the doctor kept his body in the boot of his car and parked the car in Western Bypass.
Police took body of Dr Saleh Baloch to Civil Hospital Quetta for autopsy and later, dispatched his body to his ancestral village in Khuzdar.
A large number of enraged doctors and paramedic staff of the Civil and BMC hospitals blocked Jinnah and Brewery Roads in protest against the killing of Dr Saleh. They chanted slogans against police and local administration and demanded of the government to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice. Later, they dispersed peacefully. Saddar police station has registered a case against unknown men and started investigation.
