Tehsil Nazim among eight booked in fraud case

On the orders of Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab, Tariq Saleem, a case has been registered against eight persons including Tehsil Nazim, Tehsil Municipal Officer and Tehsil Officer Pattoki on the charge of embezzlement of funds.
As per details, Zubaida Aslam Awan, a resident of Pattoki, levelled allegations against Tehsil Nazim Pattoki and other officials that they had recruited 83 persons on work charge basis and 'embezzled' their salaries.
Similarly, they also allegedly embezzled five million rupees in the name of earth filling in Pattoki Stadium and provided substandard facilities to Ladies and Children Park in Pattoki and misused fund.
Keeping in view the allegations, the Director General-Anti Corruption Establishment Punjab Tariq Saleem ordered registration of a case against all the eight persons and further investigation is underway. The persons against whom, the said case has been registered include Tehsil Nazim Pattoki Atif Nakai, Tehsil Municipal Officer Chaudhary Muhammad Afzal and Tehsil Officer Adnan Mehmood Rathore.
