Just three days in this summer camp and I don't know from where to start telling everybody about all that I have learnt soar. Other than the basics that we have learnt about the robot building, there is another side of this picture that I have learnt from, more like "the words between the lines.
On our first day, we were introduced to the components of the LEGO Mindstorm NXT kit, and that day I felt like a kid again. Being the oldest student in the workshop the feeling of "Playing with Science" was a unique experience. And I enjoyed poking my nose into everything just like a 5 year old on the loose. Not only this, I also experienced this fact myself that the younger minds are better than their predecessors.
My fellow classmates who are a few years younger than I, are not only more creative and open minded but also learning everything with the same pace and undoubtedly, are ahead of me. One our third day, we made adjustments in our robots, assembled all the sensors and finally made our robots mobile.
I felt like a parent that day, because finally I was experiencing a life in my robot that my partner and I had put together with our hand. I could not be more protective about it. I was in fact handling it like my 6 months old nephew. For me this has proved the be, not only a summer camp, but indeed an experience.
