The city on Saturday received a brief spell of drizzle, which turned the environment pleasant. However it caused several road accidents resulting in injuries to motorcyclists, besides traffic jams on various busy roads. Most of the traffic particularly public transport went out of the roads causing hardships to commuters.
As June is always a hot month, while continued unannounced electricity load shedding has made the public life miserable. In such a harsh situation, a short spell of shower is not less than a sigh of relief to Karachiites.
A large number of people went to seaside for enjoying the weather. Met office official said that partly cloudy/cloudy weather with chances of drizzle has been forecast for the next 24 hours. They said that present weather is likely to continue for next two to three days. Minimum temperature on Saturday was 29 degree centigrade and maximum temperature was 34.2 degree centigrade while humidity in the air was 67 percent.
