Heavy rains expected in upper Punjab

According to latest Meteorological Analysis, Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea are reaching upper parts of the country and scattered thunderstorm/rain with isolated heavy falls are expected in upper Punjab including Islamabad, upper NWFP and Azad Kashmir intermittently during the next two days.
However, hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan provinces during the next 3 to 4 days.

Gujranwala(Rahwali Base)=58, Mangla=38, Marala=25, Kallar=24, Phulra=23, Kakul & Rohtas=21 each, Jhelum=20, Kotli=18,Alexandra Bridge=16, Garhi Dupatta=15, Murree=14, Hattian Bala=13, Daulat Nagar=11, Muzaffarabad=09.
RIVER FLQWS AND RESERVOIRS LEVEL REPORT:
The position of the river inflows/outflows at Tarbela, Mangia and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Friday was as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbala inflows 153,100 cusecs and Outflows 190,000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 40,000 cusecs and Outflows 40,000 cusecs, Indus at Chashma Inflows 252,900 cusecs and Outflows 225,000 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangia-inflows 33,900 cusecs and Outflows 20,000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala- Inflows 57,400 cusecs and Outflows 24,800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah-infiows 193,700 cusecs and Outflows 185,400 cusecs, Chashma Inflows 252,900 cusecs and Outflows 225,000 cusecs, Tajnsa Inflows 217,700 cusecs and Outflows 187,400 cusecs, Guddu Inflows 182,800 cusecs and Outflows 143,600 cusecs, Sukkur Inflows 124,000 cusecs and Outflows 61,500 cusecs. Kotri Inflows 43,951 cusecs and Outflows 5.132 cusecs.
