Punjab Finance, Planning and Development Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has congratulated Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on his election as vice president of the International Socialist Congress (ISC) in Athens, Greece.
The minister said it was not only a great honour for Pakistan but also a place of prestige and pride for the party that Zardari had been elected as vice president. "He is the popular political leader of the country and that international community recognises the services and sacrifices of Asif Ali Zardari," he added.
