The Zila Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil while exercising the powers conferred on him under section 144 Cr. PC has ordered for banning the lifting of sand from protective bunds of Indus River and declare the protective bunds as prohibited area for the lifting of sands.
He has also authorised SHO concerned to register case u/s 188 PPC at concerned Police Station against the defaulters in violation of this order.
