Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), General Ashfaq Kayani, said on Tuesday that the hard professional training was key to harness the professional skills which were required to give a cutting edge to Army. The CoAS was addressing the garrison officers, during his visit here in cantonment, said a press release issued by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Quetta Wing.
According to the press release, the CoAS said that Army would live up to its rich traditions of chivalry and valour, which had always been a hallmark of Pakistan Army.
General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited the Headquarters Southern Command where he was briefed on matters relating to operational, training and administrative. Later, he visited School of Infantry and Tactics where he was apprised regarding ongoing training of officers in the school. Earlier, Commander Southern Command Headquarters, Lieutenant General Khalid Shamim Wynne received the CoAS upon his arrival at the airport in the city.
