Provincial Minister for Interior and Forest Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza has said that the recent bomb blasts in Karachi were aimed at destabilising democracy in the country, says a press release. The minister directed the investigation team to early complete their probe and bring the culprits to justice.
The meeting was attended by Sultan Salahuddin Baber Khattak, IGP, Waseem Ahmed, CCPO Karachi, Saud Ahmed, DIG, CID Ghulam Qadir Thebo, DIG Investigation Karachi, Farooq Aiwan, SSP Anti Violent Crime and other senior police officers. The minister said the blasts were a conspiracy against the Sindh coalition government and peace of the cosmopolitan city. Earlier, the minister was briefed about the techniques used in the bomb blasts.-PR
