The Sindh University (SU) has approved schedule of admissions for Bachelors and Masters' degrees programme for academic session 2009 here on Tuesday. A high level meeting, in this connection, attended by the deans of faculties and other concerned section and discussed schedule of fresh admissions, first and second semester examination and mid-terms test to be conducted during academic session 2009.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor, SU, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, approved to issue admission forms for all disciplines of Bachelors and Masters' degree programme under merit and self-finance schemes with effect from September, 01, which will be available from approved branches of Habib Bank Ltd.
Furthermore, the last date for submission of the forms along with all required documents in directorate of admissions has been fixed as October, 9, 2009. Moreover, the meeting also decided that entry test for admissions to Masters' degree programme will be conducted on October, 19 while test for Bachelors degree programme will be held on November, 02, 2009. The meeting also constituted a committee to examined allocation of five seats for the candidates of other provinces, which will submit its recommendations for approval of the authority.
The meeting also approved schedule for admissions to Sindh University Laar College Badin in BBA, BS computer science and commerce and MBA and post-graduate diploma in computer science disciplines and two seats were fixed for the real sons and daughters of Sindh University employees at Sindh University Laar College Badin.
The meeting decided that academic convocation of the University would be organised in the last week of December of this year. Meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Dr GM Seehar, Dr M Qasim Bughio, Dr Sanaullah Bhutto, Dr Parveen Munshi, Muhammad Saleh Rajar, Dr M Siddique Kalhoro provost Boys hostels, Dr Qamar Jahan Mirza Provost Marui Girls hostel , Dr M Raees Ahmed, Director Admissions Muhammad Ali Pathan, Controller of Examinations, Dr M Saleem Chandio and others.
