Arabica coffee futures fell nearly 4 percent on ICE Futures in early trade Tuesday on continued long liquidation, while US cocoa futures turned higher as manufacturers took advantage of Monday's steep fall. September arabica contract down 4.20 cents or 2.9 percent at $1.391 per lb by 9:21 am EDT (1321 GMT) after falling 3.6 percent to a low at $1.381.
The rest from 3.80 cents to 4.30 cents lower. September volume at 11,445 lots by 9:22 am Benchmark September cocoa contract up $11, or 0.4 percent, at $2,891 a tonne by 9:23 am, trading from $2,857 to $2,916. The rest from $12 higher to $18 lower. September volume at 5,797 lots by 9:24 am.
