Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade were lower early on Monday on expectations of a large global wheat crop, US harvest pressure and spillover from a sharp drop in corn and soya futures, traders said. As of 9:39 am CDT (1439 GMT), CBOT September wheat was down 12 cents at $8.18-3/4 per bushel.
Kansas City Board of Trade September wheat was down 10-1/2 cents at $8.54 and Minneapolis Grain Exchange September spring wheat was down 14-3/4 at $8.81-3/4.
