Government is taking comprehensive measures for the development of agriculture sector, which would help get rid of food crisis till the next year. Federal Minister for Food Agriculture and Livestock, Nazar Muhammad Gondal said while addressing the 29th meeting of Board of Governors of Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) here Thursday.
He urged the research scientists to expedite their efforts and energies to introduce new modern cultivation's methodologies in the country. He asked the experts to develop the strategy in accordance with government's policy, which would help enhance farmers income and alleviate poverty.
In addition, the minister asked agri-scientists to pass on the findings of research to the door steps of the farmers so that they could utilise it for the development of the agriculture sector for the prosperity of the country.
