'Water resources of Chitral to be exploited'

NWFP Senior Minister Rahimdad Khan said here on Friday that provincial government was working on a broad-based strategy to take full advantage of water resources of Chitral for benefits of people. Talking to journalists after offering fateha for the departed soul of IUCN NWFP Head, Shazada Shujaur Rehman who died the other day.
The Minister said God has bestowed Chitral variety of natural resources like water, forest, wildlife and mineral, which would be exploited. He directed the officials concerned to install modern equipment in Chitral and Darosh grid stations to overcome the voltage and load shedding problems. Asked about law and order issues, he said that the people have given verdict in favour of moderate and progressive forces in February 18 general election. He said that NWFP government has given top priority to peace and harmony and wants to solve all issues through dialogue.
