Managing Director Wasa Faisalabad, Dr Arshad Mahmood has said that efforts were being made to make Wasa an active, effective and stable organisation which could serve the people in real sense. He said that the problems relating to the provision of drinking water and sewerage system would be solved very soon by adopting a strategy of far-reaching results.
He said that due to limited resources Wasa had been facing a large number of problems and d0ifficulties. He said that maximum possible relief would be provided to the consumers by getting more funds from the government. The MD Wasa said that keeping in view the problems being faced by the citizens, we were developing relations with the Young Entrepreneur Organisations and sewerage system would be improved on emergent basis with their active co-operation.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering of industrialists from the Young Entrepreneurs Organisations forum. President YEO Syed Umar Nazar Shah said on this occasion that the organisation would extend maximum possible co-operation to Wasa for improving its working. He said that by observing the capabilities and performance of Dr Arshad Mahmood the people of Faisalabad were very confident of his success and achievements and it is hoped that he would be able to solve the problems of sewerage and drinking water.
Chaudhry Yasir Nazir of Masood Textile Mills said that YEO was endeavouring strengthen the organisations by exploiting the potentialities and energies so that the people could get maximum benefits from them. Senior Vice President Mohsin Abbas Cheema said that YEO was playing a key role for the betterment of public private sector, the very bright example of which was the adoption of eleven schools. Likewise, YEO was also making sincere efforts for the promotion of health and education sectors and beautification of Faisalabad City.

MD Wasa said that the people of Faisalabad were facing the problems of sewerage, drainage and water supply. He said that the delay in developmental projects and the timely solution of peoples' problems were the major factors, however, efforts were being made to solve all these problems as early as possible.
