Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Republic of Hungry Sandor Matyus has said they are seeking the Punjab University to collaborate with their country people and academicians in science, medical, engineering and education.
He met university Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran at the PU Executive Club on Monday to explore the means and opportunities of academic collaboration between the university and Hungarian educational institutions.
Dr Kamran said there were outstanding mathematicians, physicists, biologists and academicians of other disciplines in Hungry and there was a vast scope of collaboration and linkages between the university and the Hungarian education institutions. Matyus' wife, Adel Matyus, and Institute of Education and Research Professor Dr Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal were also present.
