The Swiss franc was largely unchanged against major currencies on Tuesday after data showed exports fell a real 3.5 percent in June on the year. "The slowdown in overall activity is likely to put downward pressure on inflation and hence we see rates on hold at 2.75 percent till year end," said 4Cast analyst Saara Tuuli.
The franc was almost unchanged against the euro compared to the New York close, trading 1.6201 per euro. The franc was also flat against the dollar at 1.0167 per dollar.
