CDA urged to implement charter of demands

General Secretary Mazdoor Union Chaudhry Yaseen urged Capital Development Authority (CDA), to implement charter of demands immediately. He said this while addressing a huge procession here on Thursday.
General Secretary International Labour organisation (ILO) Suzuki, Chairman of the Italy Labour Organisation Dangling, chairman Human Rights J. Salik, and Regional Chairman of the Collective Bargain Agency (CBA) Mian Rehman Ghani also spoke on the occasion.
Chaudhry Yaseen said that it is our victory that the civic body has accepted charter of demands but we would continue our struggle till its implementation. He said that demands include construction of a mosque, cafeteria and a community centre at the premises of the building. The Construction of hospital having all sort of facilities, 20 percent job's quota for the CDA employee's children, danger allowance and vocational training centre for the girls were also included in our demands, he added.
He said that they would not withdraw any of their demands that are signed by the board. He demanded of the CDA Chairman to implement demands immediately and not to keep it only to paperwork.
General Secretary ILO said on this occasion that labour has his/her own identity. .He said that all of the up-coming 8 Labour core conventions would be held in Pakistan, in which their main focus would be on the re-organisation of the Labours and to provide descent work to them.
He ensured Mazdoor Union that ILO would fully support their struggle. Chairman Pakistan Workers Federation Chaudhry Khursheed said on this occasion that it is the victory of the labours, which achieved their objectives only in 20 months without violating the Labours Laws.
