Arabica coffee and US cocoa futures eased in early trade Thursday as fund selling pushed the market lower amid thin volume. ICE Futures US September arabica contract was down 0.65 cent at $1.353 per lb by 9:02 am EDT (1302 GMT), spanning $1.346 to $1.3575.
The rest down 0.60 to 0.95 cent. September volume at 2,095 lots by 9:03 am ICE benchmark September cocoa contract was down $14 at $2,740 a tonne by 9:04 am, dealing from $2,736 to $2,782.
