An official spokesman clarified on Sunday that 'ISI will continue to perform its functions under the Prime Minister' and the notification regarding control of ISI is being 'misinterpreted'." The spokesman said: "The said notification only re-emphasises more co-ordination between the Ministry of Interior and the ISI in relation to war on terror and internal security."
The details will be clarified in a comprehensive notification, he added.
