The Lahore High Court (LHC) adjourning a case until the second week of September ordered to withhold the result of no-confidence move against the District Nazim, Sheikhupura, Pir Muhammad Jamil Sharakpuri.
Accusing the provincial government the petitioner, Pir Jamil, said since PML-N has come into power it has been using different tactics to destabilise the local government, as the provincial government has placed no-confidence motion twice in a year against him.
Moreover, he said PML-N MNAs and MPAs continued to distract the functions of district governments. He said once a no-confidence move failed no another move followed within one year. He said the Punjab government was using its influence to betray councillors to get him removed from the office.
