Jamaat-i-Islami Naib Ameer Baluch here on Sunday has criticised 14-hour load shedding in Lahore and said that this while obliterating mental equilibrium of the citizens has affected the routine economic activity of theirs.
He said neither the previous nor the present government had framed policies to supplement electricity generation therefore present unbearable conditions were being faced by the people.
Baluch dilated that due to electricity shortages after closure of 1500 ginning factories thousand of labourers had become unemployed. He added that the situation mitigating further misery had hit power-loom and other smaller industries, which was very unfortunate, he pointed.
