Cocoa and arabica coffee futures trading on ICE Futures US moved higher in early trade Thursday, boosted by other firm commodities, but volume was thin, traders said. September rose 1.90 cents to $1.398 per lb by 9:29 am.
EDT (1329 GMT), trading from $1.378 and $1.4035. September volume 3,374 lots by 9:30 am EDT. Benchmark December cocoa was up $28 at $2,813 a tonne by 9:30 am, spanning $2,786 to $2,815.
