Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) Asma Jahangir has urged the members of ruling coalition to fulfill all their pledges including establishment of democracy and supremacy of parliament, restoration of judges and independence of Judiciary and putting an end to poverty and unemployment.
She said this while commenting on Thursday's decision of the coalition partners about impeachment of President Musharraf. She also said that if the latest resolution would meet a fate similar to that of the Charter of Democracy (CoD) or the Murree Declaration then this would be too dreadful for the country.
