'Colony Sugar' listed on KSE

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), on completion of all relevant requirements, has approved the application for formal listing and quotation of the shares of Colony Sugar Mills Limited under the Listing Regulations of the Exchange with effect from August 13, 2008.
According to a KSE notice issued here on Friday, the Colony Sugar Mills Limited is being listed on the exchange under Listing Regulation No 25 pursuant to distribution of specie dividend by Colony Sugar Mills Limited to its shareholders. Trading in the shares of the company will start on the exchange from August 13, 2008 and all transactions taking place in respect of the company shall be settled on T+2 settlement basis from the said date.
The first settlement date will be August 18, 2008. The market lot of the company will be 500 shares of Rs 10 each. The shares of the company have already been declared eligible security by CDC and all transactions shall be settled through the Central Depository System (CDS) of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC).
The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited has assigned Company Code/Symbol as 'CSUML'. The company will be quoted under 'Sugar & Allied Industries' Sector of the Ready Quotations of the exchange. The share registrar of the company is Corporate Business Solutions (Pvt) Limited, Karachi.
