Please refer to the letter published in this daily on July 17, 2008 on the role of electronic media. It was a well-written letter, which advised the media about its responsibilities. A good media is, which create awareness among the masses and keep a check on the pillars of the state, so that they keep working for the welfare of the society rather than giving breaking news after every second.
