Chinese envoy calls on Shahbaz

The Ambassador of China in Pakistan, Luo Zhaohui, called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday. Pak-China relations, economic co-operation besides matters of mutual interests were discussed during the meeting. The Chief Minister said that friendship between Pakistan and China remained exemplary and time-tested, which had come up at every hour of trial.
He said that mutual relations were further strengthening due to increasing co-operation in industrial and economic sectors between both countries. He said that China had been playing commendable role in strengthening of the social and economic sectors of Pakistan.
The CM said that friendship lasting over decades between the two countries was leaving positive impact on various sectors. He said that China stood as a sincere friend which had always provided guidance and useful and wise suggestions on important matters.
He said that relations of Pakistan and China not only existed at government level but the people of both countries are also linked with relations of love and respect with each other.
He said that products of China were very popular in Pakistan and vast opportunities of co-operation existed between both the countries in various sectors including mines, power, chemicals and livestock and other sectors. He said that government would provide every possible facility to Chinese investors. The Chief Minister apprised the envoy of the steps taken for improvement of various sectors including health, education, agriculture and industry.
Luo said that the friendship between Pakistan and China had been strengthening with the passage of time and Pakistan gave very much importance to mutual relations between both the countries. He said that relations between Pakistan and China would further strengthen due to the promotion of bilateral trade and economic co-operation.
