Standard of school education should be raised

The Chairman, Task Force on Elementary Education, Raja Muhammad Anwar has said that newly recruited headmasters should be trained in administrative and financing rules to raise the standard of education in schools. Trained head of the institutions can play a pivotal role to ensure proper functioning of schools.
He was addressing the concluding session of training course for new headmasters and head ministries held under the aegis of Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) education department Punjab.
Officers of DSD and Director of PITE attended the event that was participated by 138 headmasters/headministries. The Chairman said, training course planned in the light of new research for teachers training is an encouraging sign. The trained teachers should carry their responsibilities to use the knowledge acquired during training for uplifting school education.
'Their induction in education department is a healthy sign for the education system as highly qualified young men are joining education department and they have the ability and capability to lead their subordinate teachers properly.
