'Impeachment of Musharraf a legal process'

Minister Population Welfare Punjab Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry has said that impeachment against President Pervez Musharraf is a legal, constitutional and democratic process and it is the need of the hour and the process of impeachment would be completed successfully for which coalition government has more numbers game than required.
She said that the people who say that "there will be crises and there is a lack of leadership after the impeachment of Musharraf" are not sincere with the country as well as with the constitution and democracy. She said that no one is indispensable for the government or the presidentship.
She said that senator Asif Zardari took the leadership of the party in the crucial circumstances and took the party as well as the country out of crises. She said that coalition leadership taking all the decisions unanimously after consultation whereas, the coalition government enjoys the confidence of the majority of the people of the country and have cordial relationship with the democratic forces of the country. She said that Punjab Assembly would pass resolution against President Musharraf with vast majority on August 11(today).
The minister said coalition government has decided to start impeachment process and the leaders of ruling parties have won the hearts of people by deciding impeachment and it was indeed a political decision, which would be resulted in fruitful whereas, a new era of democracy would be initiated in the country.
The democratic forces are united, democracy is strong, people are aware of constitution & rule of law therefore, no one would dare to dissolve assemblies now and the opposition parties should also work for the supremacy of parliament & law and strengthening of democratic institutions, she concluded.
