Transporters call for cut in petroleum prices

Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI), Action Committee and Anjuman-e-Ettehad Bus Malikan Karachi (AEBMK), on Sunday called for reduction in petroleum products prices in the country. KTI and AEBMK said in a joint statement that the petroleum prices should be reduced in Pakistan owe to reduction in petroleum prices in the international markets.
They have also called upon the coalition partners in the government to play their due roles to cut petroleum products prices in Pakistan.
KTI Action Committee and AEBMK leaders have also called upon the ruling coalition to take practical steps for elimination of unemployment and to control inflation. They also stressed the need for establishment of more industries to generate more employment opportunities.
