The mega fight between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC champ Cornor McGregor is inching closer as octagon specialist hints at done deal.
The Irish fighter posted to fans Sunday night that “something BIG is coming,” which has led many to believe that an announcement of a planned super fight is imminent.
In addition to the post, it’s being reported that the Nevada State Athletic Commission has reserved the date of August 26th for a Mayweather Promotions event to take place at the MGM Grand.
Multiple websites are also reporting that the date of July 29th has also been reserved by the Mayweather team at the same venue with both events being listed on Showtime.
On the other hand, both athletes are seeking August 26 date for a potential multimillion bout, ESPN reported.
The fight will reportedly be held at T-Mobile Arena, the home of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.
