Oil tanker in PSO depot catches fire

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) fire-fighters at Sihala, in the outskirts of Federal capital, have averted a huge destruction when they extinguished the fire in an oil tanker in the PSO depot. No life loss or injury was reported. According to details, the oil tanker filled with petrol was parked in PSO depot at Sihala when suddenly it caught fire.
The fire-fighters in the depot extinguished the fire before it could spread to other tankers parked in the depots. According to PSO depot management sources, a tanker, carrying 4,000 litres of petrol caught fire, while independent sources said that the loss was much higher and the management was trying to hide the facts. No report of the incident was filed with Sihala police station, but when Sihala police was contacted they confirmed the fire incident, but were unable to give exact loss.
