The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court taking suo motu notice on an appeal of a widow Noshaba Akhtar directed district and sessions judge, Multan, to look into the matter and informed the court about the factual position. Noshaba of Multan contended that her step-sons prepared fake documents and occupied the property of her husband, who died in 1997, and deprived them of their due right.
Earlier, after ten years the Civil court had declared all documents fake and appointed a commission to resolve the issue on factual grounds. However, their appeal has been in pending with district and sessions judge for more than a year and her step-sons are receiving rent of the said property, which worth of millions of rupees.
