NH&MPs annual reward ceremony held

Misbehaviour and misconduct of the National Highway & Motorway Police (NH&MP) officers with public never been tolerated and will never be tolerated. The selection criteria of newly recruited patrolling officer are based on merit and the whole procedure has been conducted by FPSC.
This was said by Muhammad Raffat Pasha, Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police, while addressing on the occasion of distribution of appointment letter, Police Darbar and annual rewards Ceremony held at zonal office here on Wednesday.
DIG M. Saleem Bhatti, SSP Shoib Dastgir, Commandant training institute Jehanzaib Jogzai, SSP Usama Mumtaz, and SSP Arif Mustaq were also present on the occasion. "I expect that newly recruited officers will not only maintain the widely acclaimed standard and performance of the motorway police but will also uphold the glorious history of department" he added.
Muhammad Raffat Pasha added that in the 11 years history of the department it is the first time that officers of the NH&MP have been recruited through the FPSC. The entire procedure of the selection is based on pure merit and has been absolutely transparent. The Inspector General expected from the newly recruited officers and said that he hoped that the officers would enhance the prestige of the department with courtesy and politeness.
He further added that the promotion of APOs, JPOs, to Patrolling Officers has been on the standards of professionalism and devotion to towards their duties. IG lauded the professional capabilities of Jehanzaib Jogzai Commandant Training Institute, while keeping the grooming and highest standard of professionalism of Motorway Police officer.
Addressing the annual reward ceremony, The I.G said that annual rewards were given keeping in view the exemplary performance by the NH&MP officers in their good conduct and providing help to public in distress.
Muhammad Raffat Pasha further said that the Sifarish culture had been eradicated from the department and the misbehaviour with the public on the part of officers would never be tolerated. Afterwards the IG listened to the problems of the officers individually and ordered their immediate solution on the spot.
