NWFP governor condemns bomb blast

NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani has strongly condemned the bomb blast at Kohat Road in Peshawar on Tuesday and described it a heinous act of worst type of terrorism. He has expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
The Governor said that the elements involved in the crime would no more remain at large and would be brought to court of law shortly. In a condolence message, the Governor said that the target killing of security forces speaks the mischievous aims of the elements involved in the heinous crimes, which are aimed at weakening the very foundations of the country.
Because of such activities, he remarked, not only the nation is suffered with a loss of precious lives and properties but its image is also badly damaged internationally. Such elements, he added neither have any respect to religion nor any honour to humanity and therefore they must be condemned by every patriotic citizen.
While expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families, the Governor prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and courage to them to bear the irreparable loss with patience. He has also wished early recovery of the injured.
