Subdued business was seen on the grain market on Wednesday as prices tended higher due to transportation problem after heavy rains in most parts of the country, dealers said.
On the grams sector, beetle Chana No 1 gained Rs 50 to Rs 4650-4900, beetle 50x50 rose the same amount at Rs 4500-4750 and dal beetle followed same trend, rising Rs 100 to Rs 5600-5800, they said. They said that other sectors cereals, rice and seed were unchanged in process of slow trading.
