Four rivers of the country, Indus, Kabul, Ravi and Chenab are in low flood at various points of the country. According to flood warning centre report, River Indus is low flood at Tarbela Chashma, Guddu and Sukkur. River Kabul at Nowshera, River Chenab at head Marala and Khanki, and River Ravi at Balloki are in low flood.
In a significant flood forecast, flood warning centre said here on Thursday evening that River Sutlej is likely to range between 80,000 Cusecs to 100,000 Cusecs Medium Flood Level at Gandasingh Wala district Kasur during the period from 0600 hours each.
FORECAST: Widespread thunderstorm/rain with heavy falls at isolated places may occur over Kashmir and scattered thunderstorm/rain is likely over North Punjab and Upper NWFP.
