Palejo announced that more galleries would be established at the Sindh Museum and would be air-conditioned and decorated to showcase the rich culture of Sindh.
Earlier, while talking to the media, she said that her department was working to gain administrative control of all archaeological sites in the province from the federal government in order to preserve them. Palejo said that 135 sites have been identified and that she plans to visit Islamabad to negotiate with other stakeholders.
She said that Mohen-Jo-Daro was a great asset to Sindh, Pakistan and the world and affirmed that it should be preserved and protected at any cost.
