Several cases of monsoon-related diseases like malaria, gastro-enteritis, leptospirosis, dengue and viral fever are being reported at hospitals and private clinics, compelling doctors to issue warnings and precautionary measures to the public.
It is necessary to adopt precautionary measures to prevent from monsoon diseases, health news reported. According to the health experts, heat related diseases especially dehydration and heat strokes can be very harmful at times if not addressed immediately.
Expert said that the digestive system gets weakened due to dehydration in summer that leads to low digestive power especially in monsoon season. He said adding one must eat as many fruits and vegetables carrying high water content and good salt balance as possible, they suggested.
