Hepatitis B, C cases detected in Hyderabad

Ten cases of Hepatitis B and 20 of Hepatitis C were detected out of 250 people tested in a medical camp in Hederabad. The Health Department organised the camp at Rural Health Centre Pangrio that was inaugurated by the EDO Health, Dr Abdul Sattar Channa.
Addressing the inauguration of the camp, the EDO advised people to use disposable syringe and change apparatus while shaving and dentistry and other oral tests. He also referring to the global Hepatitis patient record that has reached 350000000.
Channa further asked people to follow safety measures against the disease in order to get rid of it. The EDO also announced that that people found positive in the camp testing would be sent for further tests and will be treated accordingly. Dr Muhammad Haroon, Dr Mehboob, Dr Irfan Ashraf and Dr Usman were among the team of doctors who examined patients in the camp. They also gave consultancy support to people on Hepatitis prevention methods.
