Asian physical rubber prices fell on Monday, although many traders expected prices to recover on expectations that bargain hunting would emerge. One Thai-based trader said prices had fallen due to the decline in Tokyo futures prices and an increase in availability of physical supplies. He added, however, that physical prices may have hit bottom for the time being.
"I think we are seeing interest (from buyers) in the Middle East, India and also China," he said. Physical prices are more or less supported, he said.
