Lawyers propose Dr Abdul Qadir Khan as president

A large number of members of Save Judiciary Committee (SJC) Wednesday marched on the Mall demanding to make Dr Abdul Qadir Khan the president of Pakistan. The participants of the rally includes SJC convenor Abdul Rashid Qureshi, Khaksar Tehrik chief Allama Hameed Uddin Mashraqi, Jalil Ahmad Khan Rothi, Sardar Abdul Hameed Dogar Shumaila Khattak and other.
The lawyers marched towards General Post Office (GPO) and dispersed peacefully. SJC convenor Adbul Rashid Qureshi said the only way to acknowledge the services of Dr Khan was to make him the president of Pakistan. The SJC had nominated Mr Khan as the presidential candidate and rolled the ball in the court of the political parties.
