English language learning institution: 300 students get US consulate scholarship

US Consulate Principal Brian D. Hunt has said that a positive change would occur in the attitude of the people and in the development of the country with English education. He was addressing in a scholarship distribution ceremony to 300 students of English language learning institution by US consulate here on Wednesday.
He said that Multan is the city of saints and the historical buildings and culture of this city is very attractive. He said that more funds are being given to Bare World Foundation to continue the English language education process under US consulate. "About 1,370 students have benefited from this institution for the last two years and they have learnt English well", he added.
Certificates were also given to teachers, who showed good performance. Students performed different programmes made on pattern of English plays and other musical programmes. A huge number of spectators was gathered to see the performance of the students and they really appreciated them. Moreover, he refused to give the answers of the political questions.
Talking to media men, Brian D. Hunt said that very soon such types of institutions would be established in other cities of southern Punjab, including Bahawalpur and DG Khan, where people could learn English language. In-charge of Prime Minister Camp Office, Syed Ahmad Mujtaba Gillani also addressed on the occasion.
