US MIDDAY: corn soars

September corn was up 4 cents at $5.68-3/4 per bushel, December was up 4-1/2 at $5.89. Drier-than-desired crop weather in the US Midwest supportive. Downturn in crude oil limits rally. The driest spell since June will continue through the weekend in the US Midwest, possibly stressing soyabean and corn crops.
