After the resignation of Musharraf economy will be better and democracy will be strengthened in the country. This was stated by Minister of Sindh Ameer Nawab Khan while talking to journalists at Circuit House, Badin. Minister said.
"I have met with traders and labours and briefed about their problems. In this regard the government has increased the salary from Rs 4300 to Rs 6000 and pension from Rs 1500 to Rs 2000. He said the government is trying all out efforts to maintain peace in Sindh. Minister said funds would be provided through Shaheed Youth Development Programme to youth.
Sindh Workers Welfare Board will construct 7000 houses for labourers. The sewing machines to be given to poor girls and will provide funds for their marriage. The minister said that government will take steps to provide quality education to youth.
The programme of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme will give training to 40,000 trainees with an stipend of Rs 4000. He said mine is another department, which was not running in good condition. A colony will be established at Lakhra and this programme will be carried over all over Sindh. To a question, he said that officials were directed to control child curse with the help of public and media. He said that Badin is also to be facilitated by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme.
