Gold prices rose by Rs 850 per tola and Rs 771 per 10 gram in the local market while its price in the world market was quoted at $821.50 an ounce, traders said. Gold was traded at Rs 23900 per tola, which was previously available at Rs 23050 per tola and at Rs 20485 per 10 gram from Rs 19714 per 10 gram.
In the world market, it registered a rise of 14.50 dollar an ounce, according to All Sindh Sarraf and Jewellers Association.
