Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Ahsan Azhar Hayat, has called upon the officers and men of Pakistan Army to further enhance their professional skills and to remain vigilant to guard against threats posed to the security and integrity of the motherland.
He said this while speaking informally to the troops during Summer Collective Training in Nooriabad area on Friday morning, said an ISPR press release issued here. The Corps Commander witnessed troops busy in their scheduled training activities and also saw a pre-dawn attack exercise conducted by armour and infantry elements.
On the occasion he emphasised on the need to synergise and synchronise the efforts of all fighting arms in order to attain desired objectives and to maintain the cutting edge over all adversaries.
The Corps Commander also attended a detailed briefing about the conduct methodology and layout of the Summer Collective Training. He appreciated the efforts of command echelons in conducting the exercise in battle environments. He dilated upon the need of adopting latest technology in the field and mastery over standing operating procedures.
Corps Commander Lieutenant General Ahsan Azhar Hayat, also called upon the command echelons to adopt a pro-active approach in planning and employment of various weapon systems. Earlier, on his arrival in exercise area, the Corps Commander was received by General Officer Commanding, Major General Muhammad Mansha.
