Five killed as bus plunges in ravine

At least five passengers were killed and 23 others sustained injuries when a passengers bus plunged into a ravine while negotiating a sharp turn. According to police sources, a Muzaffarabad bound bus, bearing registration No AJKD-3482 coming from Chakar when reached some 40-km off here plunged into a deep ravine near village Rawalgali, the southern Tehsil of AJK capital Muzaffarabad.
As a result, five passengers killed on the spot while 23 others sustained multiple injuries. The rescue operation was successfully carried out after the accident due to quick response of local administration and police. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital while critically injured were shifted to Muzaffarabad. The identification of bodies could not be ascertained so far.
